Dear Colleagues! We are pleased to announce that The 9th International Workshop on Disordered Systems will be held on August 18-22 in San Antonio, Texas. Since the first meeting in 1998 (Arica, Chile), the Workshop has provided a unique forum for scientists of diverse expertise and backgrounds to share latest results of their studies and to engage into collaborative research on disordered systems. This year, continuing the traditions of the previous meetings, this Workshop will be centered on the following topics:
- Wave chaos and wavepacket dynamics;
- Waves and transport in low-dimensional systems;
- Anomalous scattering;
- Many-body chaos in systems with interacting fermions and bosons;
- Surface and bulk scattering in complex systems;
The workshop will start on the morning of August 18, 2014, at the La Quinta Inn and Suites Riverwalk Hotel in Downtown San Antonio, and will include invited talks and poster presentations.
Participation is by invitation only; the participants will have a choice to ask for a talk or/and a poster during the on-line registration. At the same time, we would be happy to accept self-nominations; if you think this workshop would be of interest to you, please contact [email protected]
The detailed information on registration, participants, venue and accommodation, social program, etc. will soon be available at this website.
